Description

Crimson Dragon is a chase-view shooter and a spiritual successor to the Panzer Dragoon series, in theme, in gameplay, but also for returning members of the development team. The story describes how humans have discovered the planet Draco and attempt to capture and control its dragon inhabitants. They build a massive city and reshape the land, but a virus called Crimsonscale quickly decimates the new inhabitants. The city collapses and the remaining humans, called Seekers, create the Icarus Division to commune with the Draco dragons. A hundred years later, humans are able to tame and ride dragons but are still small in number. The player's character starts as a member of the Icarus Division.
