  • Nintendo Händlervideo IFA '95 # 9005049
PAL VHS tape distributed in Germany by Nintendo in mid-late 1995. As best we can tell, this tape was given out to retailers and potential partners as a marketing tool around the same time. The title of the tape references the IFA Berlin expo, so it is also possible that this tape was played at the exhibit as part of Nintendo's presentation. The tape contents highlighted Nintendo's sales success in Germany, advertised Super Nintendo and Game Boy games, and teased the upcoming Nintendo Ultra 64. Clips from Nintendo TV advertisements are featured throughout the tape, and at the end of the tape there are several full TV commercials for Nintendo games. 00:00 - Intro 01:15 - Nintendo Facts & Figures 06:23 - Nintendo Ultra 64 Preview 09:02 - Super Nintendo Marketing Pitch 11:55 - Disney Club Clip 12:14 - Nintendo Merchandising 13:32 - Super Game Boy 14:25 - Nintendo Power Station 14:55 - Donkey Kong Country 15:34 - Donkey Kong Country 2 16:18 - Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island 17:04 - Illusion of Time (Gaia) 17:30 - Secret of Evermore 17:58 - Asterix & Obelix 18:36 - Super Classic Serie 19:23 - Tetris 2 19:46 - Pinocchio 20:14 - Maui Mallard 20:49 - Tintin in Tibet 21:16 - Beauty and the Beast 21:45 - Game Boy Special Edition 22:43 - Kirby's Dreamland 2 23:18 - Asterix & Obelix 23:52 - Mario's Picross 24:19 - Donkey Kong Land 24:56 - Mickey Mouse V Zauberstäbe (Magic Wands) 25:25 - Street Fighter 2 (GB) 25:47 - Asteroids - Missile Command (GB) 26:13 - Galaga - Galaxian (GB) 26:35 - Outro 28:59 - Super Game Boy TV ad 29:31 - Donkey Kong Country TV ad 30:03 - Die Schlümpfe (The Smurfs) TV ad 30:25 - Illusion of Time (Gaia) TV ad 30:47 - Nintendo Classic Serie TV ad 31:09 - Asterix & Obelix TV ad 31:34 - Game Boy Special Edition TV ad 1 32:06 - Game Boy Special Edition TV ad 2 32:18 - Mario's Picross TV ad 32:40 - Kirby's Dreamland 2 TV ad 33:02 - Asterix & Obelix TV ad 33:25 - Donkey Kong Land TV ad 33:47 - Tetris 2 TV ad Due to this item containing outdated sales data as well as advertisements screened to the general public, Hit Save has made the video files available to view on our archive in a compressed format.
